Formed in the Philadelphia suburbs in early Winter 2002, One Up quickly became known as one of the premiere hardcore units in the growing Philadelphia hardcore scene of the early 2000’s. Sharing the stage with bands such as Cro-Mags, Good Clean Fun, Have Heart, The First Step, Striking Distance, Blacklisted and more, One Up made their mark after several storied appearances at Wilkes Barre's legendary Positive Numbers Fest as well as two full US tours and numerous shows in the greater Philly area. Parting ways in 2005, the band left us with a highly sought after demo, several singles and a full length CD that are now presented as Many Miles Long, a complete 22-song discography which includes all the bands' recorded output as well as two unreleased tracks from their final recording session in 2004.
